Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide personalized coordinated care, support and treatment for patients and families.

*offering optimal support to promote recovery.

*Receive contaminated instruments and equipment and decontaminates them using the approved appropriate procedure for the individual item.

*Check all items received and logs them in logbook.

*Report any missing items, and where appropriate initiates an incident report.

*Sort, wrap, and sterilize instruments and equipment. Store sterile supplies.

*Checks all sterilizers to ensure they are working correctly.

* Remain in work area when machines are in operation.

*Prepare instrument use in OR, Dental, Wards and Clinic.

* Answer request from OR.

* Assist with the orientation of new employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in CSSD TECHNICIAN .

·        Fluency in English is essential.
